
Odile Mugabe
Odile, known by family and friends as Favor, is a communications professional and mental health advocate dedicated to refugee well-being and youth empowerment. She currently serves as Head of Communication at Refugee Youth Changemakers – African Leadership University (ALU) Chapter, where she leads initiatives to amplify mental health awareness and promote access to psychosocial support among refugee communities. In addition, at ALU, she spearheads student well-being and peer support efforts, fostering a campus culture rooted in empathy and psychological safety.
Odile holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), earned through its partnership with Kepler College, and is in her final year pursuing a second degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurial Leadership at ALU.
Her professional experience spans communications, research, education, and operations, including previous roles at Inspire, Educate & Empower Rwanda. Guided by her faith and compassion, Odile integrates prayer with practical, evidence-based support to create inclusive spaces where young people and refugees can heal, grow, and thrive.
Odile works in Kinyarwanda and English.
