Marie Nadine Ugirinema

Marie Nadine is a Clinical Psychologist, Group Analyst-in-Training, and Trauma-Informed Care Specialist with deep experience in trauma-focused interventions and group therapy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rwanda and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kigali, combining clinical expertise with strong leadership and program management skills.

Since 2012, Nadine has worked with diverse populations, including genocide survivors, women affected by sexual violence, and youth born from rape—serving with AVEGA, SURF (Survivors Fund), and Foundation Rwanda. In partnership with SURF, she contributed to Shooting Touch initiatives, helping beneficiaries resolve family conflicts and build psychological resilience in underserved communities. She has also held clinical roles at King Faisal Hospital and Kanombe Military Hospital and has significant experience supporting university students through counselling, mental health awareness, and well-being initiatives.

Currently completing the Qualifying Course in Group Analysis in the United Kingdom, Nadine also holds advanced training in Resource-Oriented Trauma Therapy with elements of EMDR (ROTATE) from Trauma Aid Germany.

She is known for creating safe, inclusive spaces for group healing and works fluently in both English and Kinyarwanda.
