Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from New York and holds a Master of Science degree from Columbia University in Clinical Social Work. Jessica recently relocated with her family to Kigali and is providing confidential individual, couples, family, and group therapy to children and adults, supervision and training in therapy and counseling, as well as consulting services to local organizations. Jessica is an experienced therapist, and most recently led a psychiatric and substance abuse center in New York City. Jessica’s expertise includes anxiety and stress management, anger management, grief, substance abuse, depression, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia. Jessica is also a trauma specialist with training through the Childhood Violent Trauma Center at the Yale School of Medicine. She uses many evidence-based interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and solution-focused therapy.
