Cynthia Umugwaneza
Cynthia Umugwaneza is a Software Engineering graduate from African Leadership University with a heart for people and a curiosity for how technology can make life better. She sees data as more than numbers; it’s a way to uncover stories and drive meaningful change in mental health.
As the founder of ALU’s mental health club and through leadership roles on DOT Rwanda’s YLab board and the Africa Health Collaborative’s Young Leaders Table, Cynthia has learned how to use both voice and vision to shape impact. She has also participated in global digital health programs offered by the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, gaining perspectives that bridge local needs with broader solutions.
At the heart of her work is a focus on people, creating solutions that matter. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, singing, and sharing laughter with loved ones.
Cynthia works in English and Kinyarwanda
