Dr. Marie Fidèle Umuhire is a Consultant Psychiatrist registered with the Rwanda Medical and Dental Council (RMDC). She completed her undergraduate medical studies at the former National University of Rwanda and holds a Master of Medicine degree from the University of Rwanda.

Dr. Umuhire brings international experience, having served as a resident in psychiatry at Cliniques de l’Europe – Site St-Michel in Belgium (2014–2015) and at Hôpital du Valais Romand – Hôpital de Malévoz in Switzerland (2016–2017). In Rwanda, she has worked at Kibuye Referral Hospital in the Western Province and CHUK in Kigali.

Since November, Dr. Umuhire has been based at Kigali Mental Health Referral Centre (KMHRC), where she serves as a consultant psychiatrist. Additionally, she recently joined the team at Solid Minds as a part-time clinician, focusing on psychiatry and psychotherapy.

Her clinical interests lie in adult psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. She is fluent in French, English, and Kinyarwanda, allowing her to work effectively with a diverse range of clients.
