Claver is the Learning, Media and Communications Manager at Solid Minds. He is an experienced Digital Resources professional and ICT Projects expert, with more than a decade of experience, demonstrating a strong track record in IT project development and management. Over the past 14 years, Claver’s expertise has evolved to encompass a diverse skill set that includes research and documentation, IT project development and management, effective leadership, and strong media and communication abilities.

His professional journey has been marked by a strong sense of responsibility and a results-oriented attitude. He has successfully led significant projects, collaborating with stakeholders locally and globally to create IT-driven solutions that tackle social challenges, making important contributions to post-genocide reconstruction efforts in Rwanda. During his tenure at the Kigali Genocide Memorial and the Aegis Trust, Claver played a pivotal role in the development of the Genocide Archive of Rwanda (www.genocidearchiverwanda.org.rw) – an online archive housing historical artifacts, photographs, reports, correspondences, and audio-visual testimonies related to the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. Additionally, he contributed to establishing a research hub (www.genocideresearchhub.org.rw) and an educational digital platform (www.ubumuntu.rw) dedicated to fostering peace through interactive learning and community engagement. His experience extends to the private sector, where he served as a business development manager at Esri Rwanda, managing client distribution in Rwanda, Burundi, and the Republic of the Congo.

Claver’s interests take in research and documentation, digital technologies, media, and communications, with a dedicated focus on transformative perspectives in digitalization. Beyond his professional endeavours, Claver is deeply passionate about parenting. He is a published author of two books (That Child Is me-2019 & Transmitting Memories in Rwanda: from a survivor parent to the next generation-2023). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences from the university of Rwanda (formerly the National University of Rwanda) and various professional certificates in communications, user-experience design, branding, and marketing.
