Winrose Nafula Simiyu

Occupational Therapist

Winrose is a licensed Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the Presbyterian University of East Africa. She has experience in pediatric occupational therapy, physical disabilities, and mental health, and has worked with children in rescue centres, homes, and school settings in Kenya and Rwanda to promote meaningful engagement in daily activities.

She adopts a holistic, client- and family-centered approach, delivering individualized, play-based interventions that enhance functional skills, independence, and participation across home, school, and community environments. Guided by strong clinical reasoning and collaboration, she is committed to research, continuous medical education, and providing evidence-based, compassionate care that improves quality of life
