Extraordinary Experiences

Her clinical foundation is further enriched by her early training and work as an Associate Nurse, which has given me a holistic, person-centered approach to care.

She has advanced training in Group Analysis from the United Kingdom (UK), having completed the Foundation and Intermediate Courses, and she is currently in the Qualifying Course on the path to becoming a fully accredited Group Analyst.

She has a strong aptitude for group therapy, with a natural ability to foster trust, shared healing, and respectful interaction among group members.  She is particularly skilled in facilitating and participating in group therapy sessions, where she thrive in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for participants

She completed the ROTATE training (Resource-Oriented Trauma Therapy with elements of EMDR), facilitated by Trauma Aid Germany, focusing on trauma stabilization, resourcing techniques, and community-based psychosocial support, and having a role as a trainer and supervisor, where she may guide others in applying resource-oriented and EMDR informed techniques.

Over the years, she has provided mental health support across a wide spectrum of populations, including students, genocide Survivors, women affected by sexual violence, and youth born from rape. In 2012, she began my career at AVEGA, working with genocide widows, and later in 2021, she joined SURF (Survivors Fund), offering psychological support to women raped during the genocide. she also worked with Foundation Rwanda, supporting youth born from rape, and contributed to Shooting Touch in partnership with SURF, by helping Shooting Touch’s beneficiaries to resolve family conflicts and promote psychological resilience in underserved communities.

Her experience includes clinical roles at King Faisal Hospital and Kanombe Military Hospital, where she supported genocide survivors undergoing medical treatment. Additionally, she worked closely with university students, providing individual counseling, mental health awareness, mentalhealth guidance and promoting emotional well-being in academic settings.

Combining psychological expertise with leadership and management skills from my MBA, she has unique, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive approach to mental health care. She is particularly passionate about working with university students, helping them navigate personal challenges, academic stress, and identity development.
