Solid Minds works with a number of local and international organizations providing support to employees. We believe an Employee Wellness Programme will benefit the overall mental wellness of the organization community, and contribute to the development of self-sufficient and productive employees.

    • Promote mental wellness and destigmatize mental health concerns.
    • Provide individual psychological support through direct services to employees
    • Allow employees to participate in psychoeducational training
    • Allow the organization to continue building a safe and enriching environment for growth

Standard Services Offered

Individual Support through Direct Services:

Solid Minds can offer individualized counseling sessions, beginning with an initial consultation of 90 minutes and then followed by 60-minute follow-up sessions. These sessions are usually goal focused to allow the employee to make changes in their life and improve their well-being. Solid Minds offers the option of face-to-face sessions at the Solid Minds clinic, or online sessions via phone or using the technology platform that best meets the needs of the client; and will be conducted by an assigned counselor pending language preference and need.

Psychiatry:

This direct service is available for employees who may be experiencing mental health issues benefitting from consultation and assessment resulting in a potential diagnosis or recommendation of medication.

Organization Consultation:

Our senior clinicians are available for leadership consultation regarding issues around mental health and wellness including primary trauma and vicarious trauma, substance abuse, crisis, and risk of harm.

Staff-Wide Initial Workshop:

Solid Minds will provide an initial Wellness Workshop often covering topics such as stress management and self-care to all staff members to introduce the concept of counseling, and explain how our services may be beneficial to them. Additional Services Offered

Couples & family counseling:

Sometimes there is a need for employees to engage in couples or family counseling.

Reflective groups:

Our counselors are skilled in facilitating reflective small groups on topics pertinent to the organization or employees. This may be an opportunity for employees to feel safe and secure in discussing difficult topics in confidential groups such as grief and loss, stress management, or to think creatively about how the culture of the organization can improve to facilitate positive mental health.

Mindfulness/body work:

As well as talk therapy, it can be helpful to engage the body towards healing and well-being. Some of our Solid Minds counselors can also offer practical participatory workshops connected to mindfulness meditation and body work.

Crisis services:

Occasionally, a staff member may have a mental health crisis and need intensive support and treatment. Solid Minds is available to provide additional crisis services if needed such as out of hours visits, referrals to hospital and community support from a psychiatric nurse.

Community mental health screening assessments and analysis:

Solid Minds can provide mental health screening tools to help an organization better understand the needs of their employees. This can include survey design, implementation, analysis, and recommendations that protect confidentiality while increasing knowledge about mental health within your organization.
